Triangle Ventures Capital Advisors, TVCA, provides capital and advisory services to emerging growth companies. We work with companies across several industries, focusing on early to mid-stage growth companies that need financing to complete their startup, growth and expansion objectives. Our mission is to find companies that will prove to be viable and profitable investments for our investors, alliance partners and our firm.

TVCA was formed to bridge the widening financing gap that has emerged as a direct consequence of recent the dot-com boom and bust cycle. Today’s financing challenges are formidable and can be devastating for the early entrepreneur or emerging growth company founder. Venture capital, private equity, angel groups and the proverbial “friends and family” all fill a role in financing today’s emerging growth companies. However, if your company does not fit current venture capital investment targets, is too large for the typical angel financing and/or too small for the private equity investor, your odds of achieving financing are very low.

We seek investment opportunities across all industries, typically concentrating on core industries that comprise the basic manufacturing, distribution, retail and technology segments in the US economy. Our mid-stage company profile is a viable, on-going business that has products or services, established customer relationships with growing and sustainable revenue pipelines. Our startups tend to be more focused in technology related businesses.   

Our target company profile is not constrained by preferred industry segments, financing requirements or company maturity. We seek good companies that can deliver against their financing requirements. Our recent opportunities fit a relatively stable profile:

• Basic manufacturing, distribution and retail businesses,
• Select technology businesses, including software, services, telecom, business process outsourcing, some medical devices,
• Select media and entertainment business, focusing on content delivery and distribution,
• Emerging growth company profile, late stage startups to small market cap sizing.

We work with private investors and with our network of private equity firms and alliance partners, many having over twenty years experience in serving as capital advisors, consultants and principal investors in all variations of corporate funding. These companies invest their own funds, and also do private placement equity from accredited investors, either as part of investment companies or as private investors.
