We evaluate every opportunity on a case-by-case basis against the ultimate “litmus test” - - Is the company a viable investment opportunity that can deliver reasonable returns to the investor?

Our typical financing profile includes, but is not limited to a few key capabilities:

• Ongoing business, restart or recapitalization of existing business,
• Solid, achievable business plan and financial forecasts,
• Capable and experienced management team,
• Meets and/or exceeds all of the viable “due diligence” business screens,
• Revenue ranges from $1-3 Million to $50-75+ Million,
• Companies seeking $1 Million to $10+ Million in financing.

We see hundreds of investment opportunities in any operating quarter. While we seek “projects” that can “work”, we also recognize that many deals do not fit precisely against the key capabilities our investors seek. In cases where we think a deal works, we connect with our investors to determine level of interest, likely issues, etc. These projects have a reasonably good probability to attract and secure their necessary funding requirements. In cases where we suspect the investment opportunity will not likely meet our investor criteria, we often work with companies to close the capabilities gap. We structure our advisory services to quickly identify the key issues to close the capabilities gap and, if necessary to assist the company in resolving these issues to improve their probability of securing funding.

Our fee structure on the investment side is simple – we realize our fees only upon successful completion of a funded project. Our advisory services are tailored specifically to client company needs, primarily directed toward the set of issues that need to be resolved to engage a successful investment project. Our scope and fees are agreed upon in advance, structured against a work program, budget and team. Our advisory services focus is short term – identify and resolve the investment risk gaps quickly and efficiently to position the company as an attractive investment project.
